2014-15 Summer Done and Dusted

It's been a great summer for WD Sailing! We have learnt what to do and what not to do, we had a great time being tested in the extremes at the ISAF World Cup Melbourne, coming home with a Gold Medal there, we have retained our World Number 3 position and we are ready and raring to go come Princess Trofea Regatta in Palma on the 29th of March.

2015 is a big year for WD Sailing as the race to the Olympics gets real, we have four main qualifying events this year to decide which Aussie will represent Australia at the 2016 Olmypics in Rio in August next year. The first two events are the ISAF World Cup Hyeres and the ISAF World Cup Weymouth followed by our World Championships held in Aarhus Denmark in July and then the Rio Test Event 12-22nd August. From there we have lots of training to do before out 2016 World Championships in Clearwater, Florida USA in February 2016. It is a long process but no matter what the Aussie Nacra 17 Squad is working hard together to ensure whoever goes, gets the job done and brings home a Gold for Australia come 2016.

Check out this video of what we have been up to and what is to come.
